Stadsschouwburg

On the middle of the Leidseplein is the unique Neo Renaissance building in which the Stadsschouwburg is located. The city theatre was the first stage in the Netherlands.

The Stadsschouwburg hosts large festivals, many premières, local dramas and some international productions.  Left of the Stadsschouwburg you can find the AUB Ticketshop with its Last Minute Ticket shop, where you can find information and tickets on theatre, dance, music and other performances.
