One of the
film festivals Amsterdam has throughout the year is the Shadow Festival which
focusses on the documentary / fantasy genre.
The Shadow Festival 7th edition will take place in Amsterdam from 20 through 29 November 2006.The Shadow Festival aims to be a bit of an
alternative to the IDFA . Documentary makers from all over the world - students
and professionals - show their work. There´s plenty of opportunities for
discussion with film makers , and besides screenings there will be workshops and
lectures.
