Jordaan Festival
The Jordaan area is one of the older areas of Amsterdam and a former working class district. A great place to hang out on any day, but especially when the Jordaan festival on! The Jordaan Festival is a big street festival, with loads of music performances on stage, drum bands, a flea market and auction.
Unfortunately since 2007 the organizers have troubles getting permissions for this festival (since 3!!! people complained about the noise) . Hopefully they can work it out!
