The Torture Museum Amsterdam

The Torture Museum has a very extensive collection of implements of torture like for instance the heritic fork, the Inquisition chair, hanging cages, the Guillotine, the scull cracker and diverse masks.

The Torture devices used throughout Europe are here on display. They were made to extract confessions or to make anyone talk, and when you look at them you know... they talked and confessed.

Its a chronical on mans ability to inflict pain and horror onto others. If you want to taste what is was like in the medievil times, this museum is worth a visit.
