Arknoa Houseboat,

Private houseboat ARKNOA with view on broad and active canal, at 9 min. walking distance from Central Station offers 2 private rooms (max. 4-5 persons).
1. A large 3-person-private-studio-room: THE 'ELEPHANT room', (with 1 double bed & 1 comfortable couch bed)
for 2 or 3 guests &
2. the NEST ROOM (with 1 double bed - see below).
ARKNOA can accommodate all together a group of max. 4-5 persons in 2 adjacent rooms!
Linen, towels, soaps are provided and it's smoker friendly.
Book with Hostelworld the ELEPHANT room for 2 or 3 persons. Then mail or phone Arknoa to reserve the second room:
the Nest room.

The Elephant room with private entrance:
has 2 large windows with waterfront view, a king size bed and table, a couch-bed, T & coffee-making facilities in the room; a radio, a fridge, Wifi, (Router) also a narrow terrace on the canal side where a rowing boat is parked in front of your windows in which you can safely enjoy the feel of the water ...
The room faces the afternoon sun, the canal and 8 grand beautiful trees on the other side of the canal.
It is comfortable, attractive, spacey, and smoker friendly with books available in the room;

Also Arknoa is close to the supermarket, the Jordaan district & the streetmarkets there on Saturdays and Mondays and the 2nd hand cloth store. Also close to the Westerpark and the farm there with veg.meals... www.buurtboerderij.nl

THE ELEPHANT STUDIO is situated at the far end of the houseboat with shared bathroom/shower just down the hall next to the innkeeper's studio.

- for 3 persons as a THREE BED PRIVATE. (3 guests in one room) OR
- for 2 persons as a PRIVATE DOUBLE.
- When booking the E.room please check-mark which of these 2 possibilities you want !
Prices are exclusive 5% Amsterdam tourist tax.
KEY DEPOSIT is e50.- p.p. :
Deposit will be returned when rooms and bathroom/
cups and dishes/ are left tidy and clean behind and when garbage has been removed and key is returned...
When 2 adults wish 2 separate beds, please inform the innkeeper upfront.

THE NEST ROOM:
Also a second very small room with a large dble bed (2p.):
The NEST ROOM can only be booked by contacting arknoa directly: e70.- p.night for 1-2p. On saturdays e80.- excl. deposit and 5% Amsterdam tourist tax.
You cannot book this room thru Hostelworld.

CHECK-IN is after 16oo. You can deposit bags if arriving early and if convenient. Please then mail-in to make sure innkeeper is home. CHECK-OUT is 11am.

(For e10.- you can park your bags at the houseboat for the afternoon, if convenient with innkeeper that day).

HOUSEBOAT ARKNOA is close-by breakfast shops on the Haarlemmerstraat/Dijk. (Barney's Coffee Cie, p.ex. opens at 8a.m.) The supermarket is 5 minutes away (open daily, Sundays included from 8am to 10pm); the houseboat is also close to the Monday and Saturday street-markets of the Jordaan.

ARKNOA offers its guests a safe, peaceful and refreshing place to relax in. So welcome to your floating room on the waters and to a good night's sleep!

When 4 guests want to occupy both rooms (min. 3 nights), the price for 2 rooms is e155,- p.night, excl. 5% tourist tax and key deposit of e25.- per person .

Dogs are not directly accepted as there are 2 cats living on board. Special requests can be made.
