The Downtown is hands-down the best accommodation we've stayed in during our travels! The owners are the personification of hospitality and they went above and beyond all our expectations. Ask and they'll let you know if it's possible. The large room was immaculately clean and had all amenities - fan, tv, heater, window, dvd player, dvds, etc. It also had it's own lock, which was very secure. The location was also very handy. Everything was a short stroll away. We will not only stay here again but I'm going to recommend it to everyone I know going to Amsterdam! I highly recommend this place for couples (look elsewhere if there are more than, say, 3 of you). Note though, as it says in the description, you might hear some chatter from the patrons of a nearby club that spill onto the street. This did not bother us because shutting the window fixed that easily. Thanks again, guys!!!
