Alone in Amsterdam

I'm 20 and interning in Germany with only a 20 minute plane ride from amsterdam to my "house".  I am here alone and due to where i work, don't intend on making many pot smoking friends.  I want to visit amsterdam while in Germany cause its cheaper to get there. I was thinking about finding a youth hostel near a coffee shop and just sitting there for the next two days blazin alone. Is this safe? Would it be safer to get a hotel? i don't want to go to the Red light district and look for any women. i'm  there only to smoke and maybe go to the museums.  As a 20 year old American is this safe for me to do? any recommendations for me?

I too will be coming to Amsterdam for a few days alone, not sure what to do or where to stay so. I'm American and just want to hang out, drink, maybe smoke and  meet new people, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hey yea i have nothing! im trying to find hotels/hostels but i cant really find anything for one person everything is charged for 2 people or more. The booking on this site is kinda confusing. I might be searching the wrong place tho. Let me know if you find anything cheap and in or around Central Station.  I'll do the same. I plan on  being at the coffee shops the majority of the time. and i hear that the museums are pretty cool too. Email me if that's easier. you can use the email address i posted earlier.

  Take a look at this! Search the Hans Brinker Budget Hotel. I think I'm doing this one. 50 euros for 2 nights. Its  just a bed which is all i need. Just a suggestion. Do a little research on them before you book though. They don't have any type of luxuries.

  Yea Just to let everyone on this page know if you are going to
Amsterdam and to a coffie shop yall have to try out some supersilverHaze it is well worth the buy, It will have you happy and blazed. By the way if yall are going to amsterdam and dont want to be alone could yall get me a ticket and i could go with you??? i'll pay half!

Ewwwww!!!! Haze? I'm not a big fan of the haze. It's like marmite - you either love it or hate it.

If you're into you're sweet stuff, then I would suggest trying to find some Pink Kush. It really smells pink, and it tastes like cake  I got mine from popeyes.
