Boogaard's Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam

Two of the most popular Amsterdam Bed and Breakfasts are located just a few short steps from the Leidseplein. Amsterdam Bed and Breakfast at Boogaard's and Sophia's are close to all major tourist attractions, a mere stroll from the Leidseplein with a wide range of restaurants, bars, clubs and cinemas, close to the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedlijk (Modern Art museum), the Amsterdam Concertgebouw(Concert building) and the most visited area, known as the Jordaan. Our B&B is also just minutes away from the Vondelpark. You can also enjoy a boat trip on Amsterdam's famous canals close by.

Amsterdam Bed and Breakfast at Boogaard's and Sophia's consist of four romantic rooms: in Boogaard's Pug and the Jack Russell Rooms are located on the top floor with access to the private rooftop terrace and a shared bath complete with all necessary toiletries. At Sophia's the Boxer and Dalmatian rooms located on the second floor (with a shared bath complete with all necessary toiletries) offer a unique possibility for certain guests who would like to enjoy the freedom of preparing their own meals. These rooms are self catering and have access to a fully equipped kitchen that is stocked with essential breakfast foods.

Sophia's kitchen has all the proper utensils for cooking and eating for 6 persons , a dish washer, a micro wave, oven, a toaster and a coffee machine.

The breakfast consists of various cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals, fresh breads, pancakes, coffee and tea. Coffee and tea with biscuits can be served in your room after a long day of sightseeing. Other tourist information is available from 9:00AM. While all the rooms are non-smoking, smoking is allowed on the rooftop terrace at any time.

All of our rooms are complete with a Queen Size beds, leather chairs, color TV with DVDs, internet connection (dial-up or Wireless LAN), telephone, hairdryer, towels and for your convenience, bathrobes. The rooms are filled with art work from local and American artists and can be purchased. We have over four hundred DVD's available for your viewing pleasure.
