my boyfriend and i wanted to go to some major cities in europe and we looked this one up. the location on the website mentioned it being 2 stops by tram from the train station, only on which tram in what direction, we did not know. figuring it might be close we took a taxi. $53 euro's later, we arrive all the way across town at the backside of vondelpark. the place made up for the disappointment in location. it's a great place, if you're looking for something quiet and clean. just disappointed by the location, thinking we were near the museums was a let down. however, there's trams frequently going in and that doesn't seem to bother us.
